The best health move you can make

Guys, if you’ve opened this, I am assuming you are reading this because you want to improve your health. Congratulations!!! That’s the first step to feeling the best you can.

I’m not going to talk about diets though…Or exercise…Or sleep.

You may be asking yourself, “What on earth is she going to talk about then?”

Your GUT!!! That’s right. We are going to talk about your gut. No one actually wants to have this conversation but it’s one that has to be had. (Is that proper English? Has to be had?)
Anyway, I’m going to rip the band-aid off and say it – If your gut isn’t working right, neither are you. There. It’s out there. Whew!!!
Here’s a few reasons why gut health is important:
-80% of your immune system is in your gut
-Vitamins and minerals like Riboflavin, B-12, Thiamine, Vitamin K, Sodium, and Magnesium are       absorbed in the large intestine.
– A lot of the fluids for the body are absorbed in the large intestine.
– Beneficial bacteria called flora live in our large intestines. They aid in digestion but also help keep our immune system strong. With cold and flu season right around the corner, now is a good time to get your gut in check.
I told you all of that to tell you this – If your gut isn’t truly clean, you’re going to get sick. You’re going to feel tired all the time, depressed, bloated (sometimes painfully so), and possibly dehydrated.
What causes our guts to clog?

Imagine that you gut is like the pipe to your sink drain. Over time, those drains become clogged (especially if you pour grease down them) and our bowels are the same way. Unless you have been a vegan your whole life, you’ve probably got old matter hiding in all the nooks and crannies of your gut. Processed foods are the worst.
If you’ve lived on processed foods and fast food, I promise you that you need a cleanse…like yesterday.
If you eat a diet high in red meat, you also need a cleanse. After John Wayne died, they found 20 lbs of undigested meat in his colon.
When we eat these foods over long periods of time, they form a layer of gunk over the walls of our intestines. If these walls aren’t cleaned periodically, very few of those vitamins and nutrients that you are putting in your body are being absorbed.
For example, you are exhausted and find out you have a vitamin B-12 deficiency. You take 8-12 supplements but you still don’t have any energy. Those supplements are going to do you any good if they can’t be absorbed. You need a gut check.
A good cleanse is vital for optimal health and nutrition. It’s even vital for mediocre health and nutrition. It’s vital for energy and vitality. Trust me on this. You need a gut check.
I am going to shamelessly plug AdvoCare here because this is the product that made me fall in love with this company. I have tried different cleanses but this one is AH-MAZ-ING. I’m telling you, around day 5, magic happens. This truly is a fantastic cleanse. I didn’t start selling AdvoCare for the money, I started BECAUSE of this cleanse. It’s that good.
You notice this light feeling in your belly that wasn’t there before, your energy and concentration improves, and possible pains have been “eliminated.”
A clogged gut will cause you to become toxic. If you do not use the bathroom like you should, you run a higher risk for colon cancer, Undigested food left in your gut will also cause a really bad brain fog.
Then there’s the obvious “unmentionables” like constipation and hemorrhoids. Those can cause some serious pain.
I can’t stress enough how important a cleanse is.
It’s not enough to cleanse though. A good cleanse needs to be followed up by a good probiotic. All of this time of not maintaining gut health probably has your flora out of whack.
Antibiotics will DESTROY good flora in your gut. Guys…this is bad. Very bad. It can make you VERY sick.
Ever heard of Clostridium Difficile? Colitis? Poor gut health leads to these.
So do yourself a favor and get a good cleanse and probiotic. Even the fittest of the fit can only get better with a good cleanse.
Love Always,
Heather
